Sweetheart Dinner & Dance

Come and enjoy a special evening out as Cannon Valley Lutheran High School hosts a Sweetheart Dinner and Dance on Saturday, Feb. 4th, at the Morristown Community Center. Social hour begins at 6:30pm with hor d'oeuvres, dinner at 7:15 and the dance will follow at 8:15. The dinner will be catered by Old Town Tavern and will feature Chicken Kiev, baked potato, a vegetable blend, dinner roll and dessert. DJ music for the dance will be provided by Eagle Wings. Tickets for the dinner and dance are $50.00/couple; $25/single and $10.00 for the dance only. Tickets may be purchased by calling CVLHS at 685-2636. Deadline to purchase tickets is Monday, Jan. 30th. Tickets are also available at Timm's Trucking, Old Town Tavern, Lake Country Community Bank, Quality Appliance and Erickson Furniture.

Senior High Youth Retreat

Attention all 9-12th graders! Reserve the date! On Sunday afternoon, February 26th from 1 to 5 pm we're planning a Seniorr High youth retreat at Camp Omega. Pastor Luke Timm is a dynamic speaker eager to talk about issues each of you deal with as teens. There will also be tubing or broomball and snacks! Invite a friend...this is sure to be a great afternoon!

Online Classes
CVLHS is working with Alpha Omega Publications to provide web-based classes to our students. We are able to offer more electives to our students with this program. This is a Christian company with their classes designed to reflect that.

Are you looking to obtain your GED? Instead, take your classes with us and obtain a diploma from CVLHS!

Are you a transfer student needing to make up credits? Look no further than CVLHS. We offer classes in History, English, Math, Science, and many electives. There are also a number of Bible/religion classes offered.

Are you a homeschooling parent who would like some more options for coursework? Our curriculum begins with classes appropriate for 3rd grade all the way through high school.

CVLHS Wish List

At CVLHS, we're always looking for ways to improve our students' education. We also want to enhance the memories our students and their families have of their experience here. To that end, some of the things we need most are:

  • A digital video camera
  • A microphone compatible with our sound system
  • A used truck and trailer
  • Bookshelves and/or another type of storage system

If you can help out with these or any other needed school items, please contact the school office or one of the board members.
